1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account Data: Email address, name, and optional profile information you provide during registration.

Idea Data: Startup idea names, descriptions, notes, and AI evaluation results that you create on the platform.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service.

Payment Data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • Provide and improve the SailIdea evaluation service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send important account and service notifications
  • Display public ideas on the leaderboard (only if you opt-in)
  • Generate anonymized, aggregate analytics

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (US-East-1 region).

Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Anthropic: AI evaluation processing. Idea descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis.

Vercel: Application hosting and content delivery.

4. DATA RETENTION

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your ideas at any time. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be removed within 30 days.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

  • Access your personal data through your account settings
  • Export your ideas and evaluation data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Control the public visibility of your ideas
